Trout-filled streams, mountain lakes and reservoirs provide lovers of fishing with abundant opportunities to catch a variety of fish species including: common and rainbow trout, carp, pike, catfish, chub and perch. The common trout is king in Sobrarbe, living in reserves and open waters of the rivers and mountain lakes of the district (Ara, Cinca, Cinqueta, Bellos, Yaga, Barrosa...).
For hunting enthusiasts, Sobrarbe is home to big and small game. Big-game hunting is much more popular, and the most prized pieces are wild boar, Pyrenean mountain goats and chamois.
Located 2 km from Aínsa is the Santa Ana clay-pigeon shooting range, which held the 2008 provincial championship. It is newly built and has been classified as one of the three best ranges in Aragon.
