There are a number of areas specially prepared for rock-climbing (rock-climbing schools) very near Aínsa: Foradada, Devotas, Ligüerre, Revilla, Ceresa, Yeba, etc. The most important rock walls in the Pyrenees are here - Gallinero, Tozal de Mallo, Cilindro, Peña Montañesa and Vignemale, to name a few. There is also a growing number of vie ferrate to be enjoyed at Sorrosal, Cotatuero and Carriata-Salarons.

A little further afield (1 hour drive) are the vie ferrate in the Benasque (Sacs, Castellaso), and Montrebei (Corçá) and Guara (Rodellar) areas. 2-3 hours away by car is the most famous via ferrata in Spain, Regina de Peramola in the province of Lleida.
