Less than one hour away from Aínsa is the Protected Designation of Origin (DO in Spanish) wine-producing district of Somontano, one of the most modern and celebrated in Spain. There is a wine museum in Barbastro and most of the wine cellars can be visited, with the most prestigious being Enate, Irius, Olvena and Blecua.

All Somontano wines are available in Aínsa in specialised wine merchants such as Casa Rivera and Reyno de Sobrarbe.
